Ho Nam will receive the 2026 Visionary Award at CKA’s Envision Gala on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles. The Visionary Award celebrates Korean American leaders whose vision and guidance have shaped industries and opened doors for others to follow — and Ho’s more than two decades of venture leadership, from co-founding Altos Ventures to guiding the growth of dozens of technology companies, embody exactly that spirit of vision and leadership. His investments and mentorship have helped build lasting companies and, in turn, opportunities for the next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders. This year’s Gala marks CKA’s 15th anniversary, with the theme “Our Evolving Community” — reflecting the continued growth, resilience, and influence of Korean Americans nationwide.

Ho Nam is a Managing Director of Altos Ventures, focusing on investments in the areas of software, mobile, and internet technologies. He currently serves as a director of Bitfinder, Chairish, DigitalPath, HireMojo, PandaDoc, Trilibis Mobile, TVU Networks, and WhiteHat Security. Ho led the firm’s prior investments in Axis Systems (Cadence), Enwisen (Infor), Evolve (Oracle), Immunet (Cisco), Lohika (Altran), Listen.com (Real Networks), Nishan Systems (Brocade), Pixo (Sun) and SayNow (Google).

Ho began his VC career at Trinity Ventures and began his professional career at Bain & Company where he advised clients in technology and consumer products industries. Before co-founding Altos Ventures, Ho worked at Silicon Graphics and Octel Communications.

Ho received an MBA from Stanford University and a BS in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
