Kellie Chong is currently a Legislative Director for Rep. Tony Gonzales (TX-23), handling policy related to homeland/border security, immigration, law enforcement, and appropriations. Born and raised in the State of Alaska, she started her Capitol Hill career working for her home state as a Staff Assistant under Senator Murkowski, making her way up to Legislative Aide before moving to the House of Representatives to join the late Congressman Don Young as a Legislative Assistant. Kellie was one of the first co-chairs of the House-recognized Congressional Korean American Staff Association (CKASA), and was elected as CKASA’s first President to continue CKASA’s mission of fostering and strengthening Korean American representation on Capitol Hill.
