Andrew Kim

Andrew Ikhyun Kim (he/they) is a Denver-based physician passionate about health diplomacy, peacebuilding, and spiritual care at the end-of-life. He is director of policy at the UCSF Center for Global Health Diplomacy, where he coordinated global health policy engagements for the UN High-Level Meetings on Tuberculosis, and served as the co-secretariat for the Lancet Commission on TB.
He recently served as a White House Fellow at the Office of Management and Budget and the White House COVID-19 Response Team. As an integral balance to his professional work, Andrew enjoys backpacking in solitude, volunteering as an adaptive ski instructor for skiers with disabilities, and exploring mystical/contemplative traditions across world religions.
